Common problems

My apps aren't locked

• Open Solrun, then Settings, then Locked apps. Pick the apps or categories to lock and turn the lock on.
• If Screen Time access is off for Solrun, Locked apps asks for it again. Allow it, and Solrun asks you to confirm with Face ID or your passcode.
• A schedule (Solrun Pro) can also hold your apps locked at set hours, even with minutes banked.

Start Walk on the lock screen didn't open Solrun

• On iOS 26.5 and later it opens Solrun and starts your walk. Otherwise Solrun sends a notification: tap it to start.
• If no notification arrives, check that notifications are allowed for Solrun in iPhone Settings.
• You can always open Solrun yourself and tap Start Walk (Start Run if you chose running) on Today.

My walk isn't counting distance

• Allow Location (While Using) and Motion when Solrun asks. You can change both in iPhone Settings, under Solrun.
• Walk or run outside. Distance comes from GPS, which needs a clear view of the sky.
• Keep the walk open until you tap Finish. The distance keeps counting with the phone locked.

How minutes work

• Setup suggests a rate from your answers, often 30 minutes a mile. You can change it in Settings, under Rate.
• Minutes count only while a locked app is open. Close it early and the rest stays in your bank.
• Solrun warns you at 5 minutes left, and your apps lock again at 0.

I want every lock off

• Open Solrun, then Settings, then Pause all locks, and confirm.
• Strict mode (Solrun Pro) stops apps from being deleted, Solrun included. While it is on, pausing your locks first takes the step you chose for Strict mode: a walk, banked minutes or a wait (15 minutes unless you changed it). If you set an emergency code, entering it turns Strict mode off.
• Turn Strict mode off before you delete Solrun.

Solrun Pro and billing

• Solrun Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription. You pay through your Apple Account, and Apple handles billing and refunds.
• To cancel, open iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Solrun Pro. Turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends.
• To get Pro back on a new iPhone, tap Restore on the paywall or use Settings, then Restore purchases, with the same Apple Account.

My data

Your routes, distances and minutes stay on your iPhone, and nothing from Screen Time is sent off it. Deleting Solrun removes its data from the phone. Read the Privacy Policy for the details and your choices.
